The Straumann Group, a global provider in tooth replacement solutions, has acquired ClearCorrect LLC, the privately owned manufacturer of clear aligners. The acquisition is part of the company’s plan to enter the orthodontic market and leverage the power of digital technology to deliver total orthodontic solutions.

The investment affords ClearCorrect the ability to improve its products and expand its offerings of the Flex and Unlimited treatment options to providers around the world. ClearCorrect has serviced dentists in North America, Europe, Israel, Australia, and New Zealand for more than 10 years.

ClearCorrect will continue to design and manufacture clear aligners in Round Rock, Texas, under the ClearCorrect brand name. ClearCorrect anticipates no disruptions to its products or service. The partnership between ClearCorrect and Straumann was expected to be finalized in September.
