Pulpdent Corporation is donating its products, including 1,000 applications of Embrace Pit and Fissure Sealant and 800 applications of Embrace Fluoride Varnish, to the Colorado-based nonprofit Kids in Need of Dentistry’s (KIND) Chopper Topper program for the 2017–2018 school year. The donation will support the nonprofit’s mission to provide free preventive oral health care to children in need.

Since 1998, KIND has been actively working to prevent tooth decay among low-income children through its Chopper Topper program, a mobile clinic that travels to elementary schools in the greater Denver area with student populations of 50% or more that qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. KIND’s staff provides students with free oral health education, dental sealant application and referrals. This mobile clinic provided sealants to more than 2,730 children in 2016, according to KIND.
